I bought my boyfriend, who is a huge Harry Potter fan, two tickets to see “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts 1 and 2”. The problem is I didn’t have anything for him to open on Christmas day.
As most of you know, during Lord Voldemart’s rein, many witches and warlocks did not receive their letter to Hogwarts. It leaves many of us muggles wondering what could have been. I decided to create a custom, magical box delivered from Professor McGonogall explaining why he didn’t receive his letter to Hogwarts with a lovely surprise to make it up to him.
Using a light activated sound module, I recorded the Harry Potter theme song onto the device. When the box is opened it begins to play.
Inside the Box
Once opened and the music begins to play, a letter in a sealed envelope lays on top of the burlap cloth. The letter reads:
Dear Mr. Bond,
It is with the deepest regret that during the rein of He Who Must Not Be Named your acceptance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry was lost. We hope that the enclosed will make up for our mishap. Enjoy your 3-night stay at the Roosevelt Hotel located at 45 E. 45th St., New York, NY 10017.
Included are tickets for the plane and the show.
